Many films claim to block the UV rays emitted by the sun, but only SunX U.S. has been tested, before and after installation, and proven to block all of those harmful rays. How can we make this claim? Unlike many of its competitors, SunX U.S. goes thru a multi-stage testing procedure that ensures its effectiveness at three different ranges of the ultraviolet light spectrum. Our competitors often test their films only at the center of the UV range while ignoring the high and low UV light, thus leaving your valuable collection vulnerable to damage.

But don’t believe our claims of superiority, believe our success. In 2003, as part of a massive renovation of The High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia, SunX U.S. was the UV Light Filter chosen to protect some of the world’s most irreplaceable works of art. Many other films were offered as possible solutions for UV light control, but only SunX U.S. passed the rigorous standards set forth by the independent company hired to evaluate all such products. Arup Lighting, in their report to the general contractor and the staff of the museum, concluded that only SunX U.S. was qualified to meet their needs. In August of that year, after the installation of over 12,000 square feet of SunX U.S. Clear UV Light Filter and SunX U.S. Medium Density UV Light Filter, Arup Lighting again tested our films and found that SunX U.S. not only met their expectations, but exceeded them in keeping out the ultraviolet light. In an additional vote of confidence, SunX U.S. has continued to supply UV Light Filters to the museum as the renovations moved thru phases II and III.
